Every tool on this site will eventually be built by Big Tech. The difference is what happens to your data after you use it. They sell your individual data on the backside. We don’t.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your individual, personally identifiable information to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their marketing purposes. Your name, your email, your MC number, your carrier records — that’s yours. We use it to run your tools and nothing else.
We may use aggregated, anonymized data — where no individual person or company can be identified — to build industry reports, analytics products, or benchmarking tools. This is standard practice and does not expose your identity or your business.

Authority Watch and ThreatLine use publicly available data from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. This data — including carrier names, DOT numbers, MC numbers, authority status, safety ratings, inspection history, and crash records — is public record published by the federal government. Our tools aggregate, score, and monitor this public data. We do not collect private carrier data beyond what FMCSA publishes.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on site, and referral source. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
